How it all begins
The New Warriors, the first superhero team to have a camera crew follow them to create reality TV. They crack jokes and take down the bad guys. but don’t seem to take their responsibilities as hero’s too seriously. While filming, one of the New Warriors, Namorita tackled Nitro, a villain into a school bus full of kids… Nitro turned to her and said “You guys aren’t use to real villains, your playing with the big boys now”. He then explodes, killing all the children on the bus, a nearby school and almost 900 others.
The outrage of the city was now clear, they were unhappy with the Avengers and how they could avoid the penalty of the law due to their superpowers. The government tried to take things into their own hand by passing a law which requires all superhero’s to provide their actual identity. Once their identity had been confirmed, they could work for Shield as paid federal employees. They would have full benefits, paycheques and actual jobs. While some agreed with the terms, there were a few who believed otherwise. This included Captain America.
