Alright, it’s clear to say that everyone has their favourite generation of Pokémon (or at least loves the new game ;P ) but what generation’s really the very best? Without Mega Evolution, weaknesses or strengths included in the process, I decided to find out. But I thought that it would be better to start off with separating them into categories, depending on what you’re looking for in the starter’s stats: Highest Stage 2 total of Hit Points, Attack, Defense, Speed Attack, Speed Defense and Speed, along with an overall winning generation. (The generations will be using their Basic stage names and the first generation won’t be including Pikachu.)

Rankings:
Tied for First: Generations 1 & 4
Tied for Second: Generations 2 & 6
Third Place: Generation 3
Last place (4th): Generation 5
Therefore, we have our tied winners, Generations 1 & 4 (Yay! Gen. 1! And Gen. 4, but mostly GO Gen. 1!) But of course, this isn’t going to show which one would actually win in a battle but it does show where the generations are sitting with their stats overall. But who knows where they’ll be sitting when the next generation’s introduced!
