Top Video Games of 2016 (So Far) – Part 1

Tom Clancy’s The Division

Formats PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC Developer Ubisoft

In a nutshell, The Division is a  sprawling, bombastic military online-RPG set in a snowy New York City.”We live in a complex world. The more advanced it gets, the more vulnerable it becomes. We’ve created a house of cards: remove just one, and everything falls apart.”

Black Friday – a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.

When society falls, we rise.

We enjoyed this game originally, the gameplay was fun, gathering friends was fun and competing to get the best loot was a challenge. As of late, there has been a lot of hacking happening which has created a huge loss of interest towards the game. We hope that things get fixed soon so we can get back to the Dark Zone.

The Division was released on March 8, 2016.
