As we wander past the mid point of July, it’s a good point in time to look back at the brilliant year of gaming that we have had so far. Without wasting any time, lets jump into our first game!

In a nutshell, Oxenfree is a supernatural thriller about a group of friends who unwittingly open a ghostly rift. Play as Alex, a bright, rebellious teenager who brings her new stepbrother Jonas to an overnight party on an old military island. The night takes a terrifying turn when you unwittingly open a ghostly gate spawned from the island’s cryptic past. How you deal with these events, your peers, and the ominous creatures you’ve unleashed is up to you.
We enjoyed this game due to the natural dialogue between the characters. It has a spooky and haunted tone to the game which adds quite the edge as you try to figure out what’s happening.
Oxenfree was released on January 15, 2016.
