The first video game to feature both Batman and Superman was released in 1995 for the SNES and Sega Genesis. The game had other playable characters such as The Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Cheetah, Despero and Darkseid. The game would have you playing as a member of the Justice League, fighting robot versions of other characters in the Justice League and eventually fighting Cheetah and Despero. After beating these characters, the player is led to Darkseid, who is the final villain for the game. The game received mostly negative reviews due to poor controls and choppy animations.
