Try This To Burn Some Of Those Friday Night Self-Isolation Hours

Every Friday night, I stream a game for people to play along with. Usually its Quiplash 2, but there are more options. It’s totally free, completely anonymous, and hilarity always ensues. Something magical happens when you put 8 strangers in a digital lobby with a nameless, invisible audience and have them try to be funny.

Jackbox Party Pack is well known for their collections of unique games. Some are more designed for people you know, but a small handful are perfect for playing with friends online. Want to test your trivia knowledge? I suggest playing Trivia Murder Party, where if you get the answer wrong, you’re put into a mini game. Win the game and you might live, but lose and your voodoo doll avatar is killed. This doesn’t mean you can’t win overall, but the last doll standing has a large advantage in the final level.

If you think you have what it takes to make people laugh, there’s Quiplash. Everybody is asked a pair of questions, but you share those questions with two other people in the group. Who’s funnier, you or them? That’s for everyone who didn’t answer to decide. The more people who liked your answer means the more points you get! The only thing to win is bragging rights over a bunch of strangers you may or may not know.

If this has piqued your interest, join us every Friday night at 7 p.m. EST at www.mixer.com/Suited_Monkey while we play games and let everything that’s bugging us sit on the back burner for a time.
