Final Fantasy XV – Delayed!

Final Fantasy fans thought they would be sitting down September 30 to finally play the fifteenth installment of the RPG franchise…

Well, think again.

Final Fantasy XV has been delayed two months to November 29, says director Hajime Tabata.

The reason, explains Tabata in a video posted to YouTube yesterday, is that the completed version of the game just was not up to snuff. Instead of releasing a downloadable day-one patch, the team has decided to simply delay the game, printing the up to snuff version directly to the disc.

Be sure to turn the subtitles on!

In better news, Tabata also announced a 30-minute gameplay video is due.. Today!

The theatrical and digital releases of the film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, August 19 and August 30, respectively, seem to be unaffected… at the moment!

Are you looking forward to getting your hand on this game? Have you played any of the other Final Fantasy games? Let us know in the comments below!
