We all enjoy a good animated movie from time to time. Perfect time to have some family time or indulge in your inner childhood. It looks like we have some potentially good movies coming out in the near future!

Enjoy!

1.B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations

animation movies

Release Date: TBA
Starring: Melissa McCarthy, Seth Rogen, Bill Murray

B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations is a super classified agency that is dedicated to protecting humans from hauntings, with one kicker: the agents are actually ghosts, themselves. Two brand new members of the force (Melissa McCarthy and Seth Rogen) will partner up to take on the agency’s Most Wanted Haunter.

2. The Secret Life of Pets

kids movies

Release Date: July 8, 2016
Starring: Ellie Kemper, Kevin Hart, Louis C.K.

A terrier named Max regularly invites his friends to hang out at his place while his owner is gone, but his quiet life is upended when said owner also takes in Duke, a stray mutt whom Max instantly dislikes.

3. Ice Age: Collison Course

Release Date: July 22, 2016
Starring: Simon Pegg, Melissa Rauch, Jennifer Lopez

The next (and we hope the final) Ice Age movie is coming in 2016 with Ice Age: Collision Course. The movie will see Scrat’s epic pursuit of the ever evasive acorn catapult him into space, where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten Earth. Manny, Sid, Diego and the rest of the herd are forced to leave their home and embark on a quest full of thrills.

4. Sausage Party

Release Date: August 12, 2016
Starring: Salma Hayek, James Franco, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill

Sausage Party is certainly a strange concept for a movie. It’s supposed to be a raunchy animated film, and we would expect nothing else from Seth Rogen. Sausage Party (the movie) will follow the tale of one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence among food in a grocery store.

5. Trolls

Release Date: November 4, 2016
Starring: Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Russell Brand

DreamWorks recently announced a Trolls movie that has a cast that includes Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick and Russell Brand. The movie will follow a pair of trolls that are wildly different who are, obviously, forced to work together.
