You can pretty much say the word “Yoda” anywhere you go and the first thing that will come to mind is a small little green guy with pointy ears, a robe and speaks weird he does. Since Yoda was introduced in 1980, not only has he become one of the most iconic characters of Star Wars, he is one of the most iconic characters EVER.
While he might be one of the most iconic characters ever, here are 12 facts you probably didn’t know about the little green guy.
1. Nobody really knows anything about him
George Lucas himself doesn’t know much about Yoda, and he doesn’t want to find out. While everyone knows who he is, what side he fights for and what colour of light saber he wields…Â That’s about it. Nobody even knows what species Yoda is and the only other known character the same species as Yoda is Yaddle- who is basically a female yoda with longer hair.
