Microsoft has now promised to bring future Xbox titles to Windows 10, and now Sony is making a similar offer. Soon, you won’t need to own a piece of PlayStation hardware in order to play PlayStation games. And it’s all thanks to PlayStation Now.
The PlayStation Now service where PS4 owners can enjoy playing streamed versions of PS3 titles for a monthly subscription. There’s around 400 PS3 titles to choose from, with the service set to continue expanding to embrace PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PSP titles. I imagine PS Vita will eventually join that list, too. This service is not cheap though, costing a solid $19.99 for a month of $44.99 for 3 months. That being said, you will save the initial costs of buying the console itself.
Sony has announced that PlayStation Now is being made available on Windows PCs across Europe and North America.
I currently own a PS4 but for some reason this idea still does appeal to me. Do you think Sony is making the right decision to jump into the PC market behind Microsoft? Let us know in the comments below!
