Pokémon Sun & Moon Games Getting a Manga!

Pokémon fans get excited! The new Pokémon games (Sun & Moon) are on the way and following them comes a new manga series.

The Pokémon Company Japan announced on Monday that a new Pokémon Sun Moon manga will begin in the October issue of Shogakukan‘s Coro Coro Comics on September 15. Tenya Yabuno(Inazuma Eleven, Digimon V-Tamer) will be the artist drawing the series.

A preview of the manga will run in the September issue of the magazine on Friday. The preview shows the protagonist, a young boy named Akira, setting off on an adventure in the Alola region with his partner Rockruff.

The Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games will debut on Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America on November 18, followed by European release on November 23.
