Good Night – Dawning Day Productions

Together with Randy Mars and Rusty Cat Films, Dawning Day Productions has released the trailer of their highly anticipated short film ‘Good Night’.

‘Good Night’ focuses uponĀ A small band of survivors fighting to stay alive after a zombie apocalypse without losing their humanity. What caught our attention was that the plot of the movie did not focus on the action of the zombie apocalypse, but rather how each individual has been mentally coping with it.

“Our goal is to create a short to focus more on the realism that such an event would have on the survivors, along with an equally passionate cast and crew we did it!” Caren MacNevin – Assistant Writer/Producer/Actress of ‘Good Night’

With the vast majority of the crew being volunteers, you can see clear as day the passion that each individual has put into this short film. PuttingĀ yourself in the shoes of one of the few survivors sends shivers down my spine… not only is thereĀ the constant threat of zombies, but the threat of those who you still call friends can turn on you at any moment.

If you are a fan of psychological horror films or just love a good zombie movie, we at The Nerd is the Word highly suggest you take a look at their trailer. Currently they are taking donations on their Indiegogo page to get their film into as many film festivals as they possibly can. We support our local film makers and the time, effort and dedication they put into their work. I can say, we look forward to seeing the release.
