Attack on Titan Season 2 hits a stand still

Attack on Titan , a widely known Japanese franchise has officially hit a stand still in production of their second season.  The pivotal point to the success of the anime was due to the fact that it followed the manga so closely. The results meaning that there are no “filler” episodes or flashbacks to previous encounters., meaning high intensity, fast paced entertainment for everyone.

Fans were thrilled when it was announced that Season 2 had been given the green light. Attack on Titan Season 2 was scheduled to release this year with the original intent to create new content as the manga is still currently being written.

This is also the reason why we now will wait even longer to see the newest season. The creator of the Attack on Titan franchise, Hajime Isayama, and the director of the anime, Tetsuro Araki, both stated that the manga should always be four story arcs ahead of the anime. With the manga being four story arcs ahead means that the anime will not have to produce any original contents diverting away from the original manga.

While we all have been waiting what seems like forever for Attack on Titan to return to TV, is this halt really a bad thing? Think of one of your favorite books that has recently become a blockbuster movie. Were you fully satisfied with how they represented the book? Attack on Titan wishes to satisfy their fans in the best way possible, by sticking by their readers and not straying too far from the original plotline.

While you wait for the manga to zoom along, you can look forward to the release of the computer game being released later on this year. It will also be released for all Sony consoles and handheld devices.
