Pods is a small GPS tracking device that you can attach to your furry little friends collar. This little device, small as a wine cork not only tells you where your pet is located but also monitors its activity.
This device was developed by founder Sebastian Langton after he lost his cat Rango last year, who he describes as “my best friend in the world and possibly the coolest cat on the plant”.
The tracker pairs with a smartphone app which acts like a “lost my phone” app when you misplace your cellular device. The free mobile app allows you to set “safe zones” where your pet is allowed to be without causing alarm, but once they leave this zone you will receive a notification warning you about your pet. This allows you to find your pet before they can wander off and cause too much of a ruckus.
